St Cyprian’s in Lenzie is our venue for the Club’s ” Rumble in the Jumble” This year was a very successful year and we hope it will continue to grow. Our youngest “Jumbler” was Daisy Dunford aged 14. Watch out soon for more about Daisy on Members Photos area.

5 SWTVC cars attended the 2023 Canal Festival in Kirkintilloch Town Centre. It was a very busy show all day finishing around 4.30pm.

August run to Roseneath Castle Caravan Park was a well attended event. Setting off from Kidston car park in Helensburgh. The weather was favourable too.

June saw members take a sail on Loch Katrine on The Steamship Sir Walter Scott.
Sunday 4th of June saw around 20 vehicles set off from Dobbies Garden Centre, Stirling. The run consisted of a morning section with a lunch stop at the Four Seasons Hotel at St Fillans with an Observation Quiz and the afternoon terminated at the Karma Lake Hotel… Lake of Menteith, where we handed in our general quiz answers!

Drymen Agricultural Show 2023
A splendid show today with something for everyone to do and see! Congratulations to Colin & Jacky Sherwood who were awarded ‘Champion’ in Show…well done and well deserved. With the Show Rosette they receive also an engraved trophy!!
Thank you Allan Methven for our invitation and treats to eat and drink throughout the day, not forgetting our fridge magnets. Club members had a great day out. More photos to be added shortly.

THE BIG START OF SEASON THIRD TUESDAY MEET AT THE KIRKHOUSE INN, STRATHBLANE
A superb collection of more than fifty classic & Vintage vehicles gathered at the Kirkhouse Inn on Tuesday 16th May 2023. On display also was a superb Indian Motorcycle.
A replica Tunnocks Teacake “Vintage” delivery van that was built around 50 years ago and based on a 1938 model was also on display…. Free Tunnocks treats for all! Courtesy of Brayon Classic Engineering.

March 20th the Club Annual Dinner was held in Glaschu Restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. The members were served in splendid surroundings their chosen dishes from the menu. A truly superb experience was the judgement from all. Thanks to Ken Mc Geoch for organising such a special evening experience.
