Retirement Announcement
John Young who was Club Membership Secretary from 2009, stepped down in June 2025.
This was a “job” he volunteered to do thinking it would be only a background task! Boy…was he wrong ? Move forward 15 years. For Sandra, John was her ‘go to man’ and a key pillar to the Committee who had the answers relating to all things secretarial that assisted Sandra in her duties when she took up as Club Secretary in 2019.
Sandra’s skills were not in admin but in Nursing. John’s help has been invaluable and greatly appreciated.
We all wish him well for the future.
